Personal history
Stephania was born in The Greens of St. Forbes to a pair of wealthy tobacco plantation owners. She spent much of her youth engaging with other children, and was easily one of the most popular girls in her age group. In her teens, she grew interested in sex and dabbled frequently with several boys and girls. Interest grew to fascination, and she quickly picked up on different techniques. She was sixteen when she turned to prostitution. She wanted to make money on her own without her parent's influence. She did this for several years, with relative success, until her parents died in late 205 in a fire, leaving her a hefty inheritance. The next year, Stephania sold the tobacco plantation and used the profits to purchase a hotel called The Grand Magistrate, which she renamed The Honeypot and repurposed as a brothel. She was soon approached by some private parties and asked to use her courtesans to gain information on clients. Realizing how lucrative deals like this could be, she immediately began training her girls to pump their clients for as much personal information as possible, as subtly as possible. She quickly understood how dangerous this could be for the girls and decided to train them in self-defense, which several of them excelled at. It was then, in 212, that she formed The Honeybees, an assassin's guild formed entirely of courtesans, with the help of one Donovan Holloway, the man who had given her the idea in the first place. She had been purchasing slaves from Donovan for several years now, and they had grown quite close. After this upgrade, Madame Bluthe's profits nearly doubled, and she has been running this operation ever since.
Education
Stephania spent her formative years learning only the ways of the plantation owner, which consisted of much of the business knowledge she would later use to run The Honeypot. She also hired herself private tutors in her twenties to teach her other relevant skills.
Employment
Spent the majority of her youth helping her parents on the tobacco plantation. She started as a prostitute at sixteen and worked her way up to brothel madame and guild master later on.
Morality & Philosophy
Slavery has become a hot issue in St. Forbes recently. Stephania feels as though slavery is just and fair so long as the slaves are allowed to work off their "debt" to their masters to gain their freedom, which is the current law in St. Forbes. She is fiercely defensive over her girls and would do anything for them, but most other people are free game as far as she's concerned.

The Madame is motivated primarily by a somewhat twisted sense of motherly affection towards the wayward girls who join her brothel, even the ones who come unwillingly. She feels it is her duty to provide better lives for these girls who would otherwise have nothing.
