Red Square
The central market square of Pullitiera, has become known as the Red Market, it is both the economic and social heart of the town. It is so named for the crimson banners that hang over its many stalls, though some say the name refers to the blood often spilled in disputes between merchants and enforcers in recent times. The market still has access to a huge range of products from exotic spices and silks to weapons and live beasts.
Despite the market’s apparent prosperity, it is a volatile place where violence often erupts. Merchants are constantly looking over their shoulders, and competition for wealth and power has created a dangerous environment.
