1. The Brazen Skewer

A smoky, fire-lit grill tended by a grinning Sand Kingdom cook, famous for shouting orders louder than his sizzling pans.

2. The Golden Cauldron

A broad-bellied kettle bubbles with fragrant stews, run by two stout sisters from the north of Cyrillane who ladle out food with good cheer and a touch of gossip.

  • Fish chowder with saffron & fennel — 1 gp
  • Baked apple stuffed with nuts & honey — 6 sp
  • Mulled wine with cinnamon & cloves — 7 sp

3. The Sailor’s Rest

A raucous ale-stand with kegs stacked high and sailors spilling around it, half-drinking, half-singing. Run by an old corsair who still wears his cutlass for show.

Menu:

  • Crispy fried plantains with chilli paste — 4 sp
  • Dried squid strips with lime — 6 sp
  • Tankard of ale (pale, dark, or spiced) — 5 sp
  • Shot of burning white rum — 8 sp

4. Sweets of the Sun

Description: A cheerful confectioner’s stall bursting with sugared almonds, honey cakes, and sticks of candied fruit. The vendor, Delna Veyra, claims her honey is “kissed by the dawn.”

5. The Crooked Table
