Archeological Digs for the Celestial Column

Over the centuries many have attempted to once again find and restore the Celestial Column. This includes both mortals and gods and as such the tunnels leading down below the Wasteland of Li'minar are in a myriad of different shapes and sizes with several of them having fully or partly collapsed due to their age.   Now they are mainly inhabited by monsters able to burrow through the ground, that use the tunnels as nests. As such exploring them has become a dangerous affair and most simply leave them alone since none of them ever found the Celestial Column. There are however a few brave or stupid explorers and scholars who still believe that these tunnels might bring them close and keep exploring them in the hope that they might find something that previous explorers and miners did not.
