MSN Rifle Model 26
The MSN Nzack Tup 26, sometimes called the Ack26, is a bolt-action rifle produced by Imperial Arms Manufacturing, considered by many to be the finest bolt-action rifle in the world. It has been adopted and copied across Duurn, with versions of the rifle used on both sides of the Last War.
It was created as the primary service weapon of the Khahlanong Imperial Army.
The Ack26 accepts a 1-lb. knife bayonet (Reach 1, 2*) and uses five-round charger clips. During the Last War, extended, clip-charged "trench" magazines were issued in small numbers (Wt. 11.3/1.5, Shots 25(15)). From 1345 on, a 1.1-lb. 4x scope (+2 Acc) was issued to sharpshooters.
The Ack26 was licensed, copied, and sold as war assistance in many calibers. A version in 7x57mm Tehanti is used by the Tehanti Council Republic, Mitaque, and Brevia. A version in 7.65x53mm MSN is used by the Hallowed Lands, Zantshtu, and Surdocu.
In 1347, the MSN B26-Pattern Shotgun, chambered in 12-gauge 2.75", was created by mating the B26 action with a new stock and barrel.
In 1335, the Nomzamo B26/35 Nguntbyuff, a sporting rifle based off the Ack26, was created by Nomzamo Imbi.
