Kostaquan Bush War
The Kostaquan Bush War was a conflict lasting from 1306 to 1319 in western Eaorma. It became a three-way conflict, fought between indigenous Millmuans, Kaisa, and Cotraitian settlers in the region south of the Qimuunas Mountains.
Kaisa had laid claim to the region as part of Kaisan Eaorma, but in the early 1300s, Cotraitian settlers began to move into the region and establish settlements. When they refused to pay taxes to and recognize Kaisan authority, the Kaisan Army was sent to evict them, but they fought back. The indigenous population was caught in the middle of the fighting, with both sides attempting to use them as pawns in the war. Coterait disavowed the settlers, but they provided equipment and supplies under the table.
This conflict laid some of the groundwork for the Last War, building animosity between Kaisa and Coterait.
