Juuqiit Revolt

The Juuqiit Revolt was an uprising of the Juuqiit people against Kaisan Eaorma during the Last War. The Juuqiitan rebels were supported by the Imperial Jiderani Union, who wanted to use the uprising to undermine the Republic of Kaisa's war machine.   With equipment, training, and support from an IJU expeditionary force the rebels were able to kick the Kaisan forces out of their territory and cause significant damage to the colonial extraction in Kaisan Eaorma. However, after the Last War ended, the IJU did not make good on their promise. In their negotiations with Kaisa as part of the Delchi Peace Conference, they took the Juuqiitan territory and the region of Kaisan Eaorma south of the Qimuunas Mountains. The Juuqiit were granted some autonomy within the Juuqiit Autonomous Territory, but they remained under the control of a colonial power.
