Jiderani Uprisings of 1281-83

The Jiderani Uprisings of 1281-83 were a series of rebellions across northern Jideran, including the Chantois Uprising. They represented the first large-scale examples of civil unrest associated with the communist movement. The uprisings were universally unsuccessful in their goals, but they resulted in a rising political consciousness in the Jiderani working class and the birth of some of the first Jiderani labor unions. The Communist International Circles became the scapegoat for several nations, resulting in the arrest, imprisonment, and execution of many of its members.
