Glehrheu
The Free Republic of Glehrheu is an autocratic warlord state located on the Glehrheu Peninsula of western Vieluesse.
Prior to 1348, Glehrheu was a semi-autonomous territory of Kaisa. During the Last War, a nationalist uprising led by Judie Trerbon and Baren Zijbrie was able to gain Glehrheu's independence. However, the Glehl nationalists who hoped for the creation of a democratic republic were sorely disappointed. Trerbon declared himself president-commander of the new state and immediately began a purge of his former comrades, with the help of Baren Zijbrie.
Now, Trerbon enjoys the luxury and power of his position, while the people of Glehrheu are forced to work under the same, sometimes even worse, conditions compared to before independence from Kaisa. Random and barely justified "taxes" are levied upon villages and towns whenever Trerbon's soldiers pass through, and anybody who speaks out against him is quickly disappeared. Trerbon seems to have few political positions beyond a personal desire for power, but he employs a great deal of echelarist rhetoric in speeches, often given via radio.
