The Crusaders

A sect of the old ways known as "The Crusaders" are a zealous and militant faction dedicated to reclaiming sacred lands, defending the faith, and waging holy war against perceived enemies of the old ways. Inspired by the ancient historical Crusades of the Middle Ages, The Crusaders view themselves as righteous warriors fighting to uphold the tenets of the olds ways in the face of adversity and oppression.   Ideology and Beliefs:   Jihad and Holy War: The Crusaders are fervent believers in the concept of jihad, viewing it as a sacred duty to defend the old ways and expand its influence through military conquest. They see themselves as holy warriors chosen by Allah to fight against injustice, heresy, and tyranny wherever it may be found.     Reclaiming Sacred Lands: Central to The Crusaders' ideology is the belief in reclaiming and liberating sacred lands that have fallen under the control of non-human forces. They seek to establish human rule in these territories and ensure that they remain under the protection of the faith.     Martyrdom and Sacrifice: The Crusaders hold martyrdom in high regard, believing that those who die in the service of the odl ways will be rewarded with paradise in the afterlife. They are willing to make great sacrifices and endure hardship and suffering in pursuit of their holy mission.     Organisation and Structure:   Military Order: The Crusaders operate as a disciplined and hierarchical military order, with ranks and titles bestowed upon their members based on their skill, experience, and devotion to the cause. They are led by a council of elders and commanders who oversee strategic planning and decision-making.   Training and Indoctrination: Prospective members of The Crusaders undergo rigorous training and indoctrination to prepare them for the rigors of holy war. They are taught martial skills, religious doctrine, and the importance of unwavering loyalty to the cause.     Network of Cells: The Crusaders maintain a network of cells and operatives across the isles, organizing themselves into small, decentralized units capable of carrying out acts of insurgency, sabotage, and guerrilla warfare against their enemies.     Relations with Other Factions:   Allies and Enemies: The Crusaders view themselves as the vanguard of the old ways, standing against all who oppose the faith or threaten its sacred principles. They believe that the entire world belongs to Allah and that it is their duty to bring it under the banner of the old ways and humanity   In this world ruled by dragons, The Crusaders stand as a formidable and uncompromising force, driven by a fervent belief in the righteousness of their cause and a commitment to defending and spreading the faith at any cost. Their zeal and determination make them both revered and feared by allies and enemies alike, as they wage holy war in the name of Allah and the old ways.
