Arthur Taford is a young human sorcerer who, in his youth, mastered several schools of Arcane magic. He is the child of peasants in Gionegrast and was the the only magician in his village. When it came time for his apprenticeship, his parents sought for a sorcerer who would be willing to take Arthur on. His unique gifts attracted the attention of Laucian Xiloscient, who agreed to take Arthur as his apprentice. This is how Arthur met Elran Xiloscient. Arthur and Elran quickly fell in love and began a strong relationship despite their racial differences. Shortly before Elran left on his quest to Cordia, Elran proposed to Arthur, who accepted the proposal. The wedding between the two of them is expected to take place upon Elran's return to Draconia.
