Light

Light is the Sun God, divine creator and protector of the domes of light.
When the world was still in a long sunless winter during the era of The Eternal Night, he took mortal form.
A walking sun amongst mortals, he distributed his sacred word, the Covenant of Dawn, to all 23 remaining domes of light.

He first entered a dome from the frozen waste outside. With skin glowing, pulsing in phase with the energy of the domes, distributing miracles of light healing powers, he proclamed he was the earthly manifestation of Light himself, the god protecting them through his domes of light. He told of 22 other cities of survivors like them. He told of the coming dimming of the domes, and of the need to relight the sun. He gifted the first dome, and all the subsequent ones, the relics known as a Gestalt, a magical device able to perfectly separate humans into an optimal system of castes, but most importantly of finding a child of light. This child of light would have the power to ascend to the sun and relight it.

Light's divine goal is to bring back an eternal sun, but he is constantly limited by the meddling of Dark , his evil counterpart.
He wants the dome societies to flourish and help mankind climb back to the heights the mysterious and forgotten Old World reached.

No one has seen any direct manifestation of Light for centuries, his existence now mostly a Myth. A strong myth, but still a myth.

It is only felt through the yearly selection of the Child of Light and of his chosen guardians, elite individuals able to navigate the Dark Lands

Some say Dark trapped him in a cage, some say he is fighting the unending "Radiant War"
