The earliest memory Ruh ever had was the Apfelmuss that Sister Claire tried to feed her when she was a baby. Her second earliest memory is playing football with all the other children on the Orphanage's field. Since young she had been busy helping the orphanage and Sister Claire, the director of the St.Lucia Orphanage. Usually she would forage in the forest for mushroom and fruits and occasional to hunt wild boars. It's true that these tasks can be a bit overwhelming for any children and teenagers. But Ruh has also been blessed with control over magic and mana: Firebolt to start a bonfire, booming blade to strike down wild beasts, light to explore caves and mending, for small repairs. Recently, Ruh discovered that some caves nearby has runes that glow, etched onto the cavern walls. Though she can't read what it means, she can certainly feel the non triviality of them. Along with her discovery of runic writing is her ability to charge her magic and deflect damage with it. Everytime she does this, a small square glow appears on her palm.
Now turning 16 years old, Ruh grew curious of the world outside of Am Rand. Especially about her parents. How they met, how they conceiver her, why was she left alone at the orphanage. Those questions filled her head and every passing day, it teases at her natural sense of curiosity.
When she decided to leave and search her parents, Sister Claire gave her a parting gift. It is a set of bracelet that came with her when she was first abandoned in front of the orphanage's door. It was golden and shiny, yet the local metalsmith can't pinpoint exactly what metal is used in it's construction. Only one thing is certain about these bracelet however; they are of very high quality and craftmanship. Some might say otherwordly.
With that, Ruh set off to Batavia, the biggest city in this side of the world to find information for the wherabout of her parents.
