Iggwilv
Iggwilv (a.k.a. Witch Queen of Perrenland; Formerly Tasha)
Iggwilv is one of the most feared and brilliant arcane figures in all the multiverse—a master of demonic lore, a weaver of dark pacts, and a sorceress whose name is spoken with equal parts awe and dread. She is the Witch Queen of Perrenland, a title earned through ruthless conquest, arcane mastery, and a will that has bent fiends, mortals, and nations to her designs.
Before she carved her legend into the bones of Eastern Oerik, she was known as Tasha, a prodigious human mage of uncanny intellect and unpredictable humor. As a young woman, she served as an apprentice to the mad archmage Zagig Yragerne in the Free City of Greyhawk. There, under Zagig’s tutelage and amid the chaos of his eccentric court, she began to unravel the mysteries of the planes, demonic hierarchies, and the unstable, volatile threads of wild magic.
Tasha’s early exploits were deceptively whimsical—she crafted spells with trickster flair, laughed in the face of peril, and famously created a now-infamous incantation known as Tasha’s Hideous Laughter. But beneath the mischief burned a fierce and unrelenting hunger: for knowledge, for control, and for power unbound by the laws of gods or mortals.
A peerless sorceress and dread scholar of the Abyss, Iggwilv rose from mischievous beginnings to become a planar power whose influence spans nations, fiends, and forbidden lore alike.

Personal history
Eventually casting aside the name Tasha, she emerged into history as Iggwilv, a sorceress who would dominate entire regions and command legions of fiends. Her most infamous period came during her rule of Perrenland, where she seized power through both enchantment and conquest, establishing herself as an autocrat and arcanist of terrifying might. Her court was filled with bound demons, her laboratories brimming with forbidden tomes, and her enemies either enslaved or destroyed.
Her knowledge of the Abyss and its denizens became legendary. Through perilous study and pacts, she bound and even subjugated the demon prince Graz’zt, using him as both a lover and a pawn in her pursuit of power. Their relationship was as passionate as it was poisonous—an affair that rocked the lower planes and left lingering scars on both parties.
Iggwilv is credited with compiling the infamous Demonomicon, an evolving grimoire of unspeakable knowledge, rituals, and planar secrets. No other mortal has mapped the tangled politics and metaphysics of the Abyss with such precision—or dared to do so and lived.
Personality Characteristics
Representation & Legacy
Though she was once thought mortal, Iggwilv now exists in a state that defies such simple classification. She has repeatedly cheated death, vanished into unknown planes, and resurfaced stronger than before. Her immortality is tied as much to her cunning as it is to her magic. She plays a long game—working through agents, altering events through prophecy, and steering the fates of kingdoms without ever drawing a sword.
Her rivals have called her tyrant, demonologist, heretic, and worse. Her allies, few though they are, know her as brilliant, vengeful, and utterly self-reliant. Some whisper she may one day ascend as a goddess of arcane mastery or become a permanent power in the Abyss, though whether that is her ambition or a future she seeks to avoid remains her secret.
