Iuz the Evil
A figure of dread whispered across the Flanaess, Iuz the Evil is a cambion—born of the mortal sorceress Iggwilv and the demon prince Graz’zt—who has risen far beyond his profane origins to become a demigod of cruelty and dominion. Twisted by his infernal heritage and shaped by the dark ambitions of both parents, Iuz is a godling who commands fear not just by divinity, but by the horrors he has wrought upon the world.
Iuz appears in many forms: as a towering, red-skinned demon with blazing eyes and talons, or as a hunched, rotting old man radiating ancient malice. These shifting guises reflect the duality of his existence—half-mortal, half-fiend, and fully monstrous. Where he walks, crops wither, courage fails, and shadows seem to lengthen unnaturally. His divine portfolio encompasses oppression, deceit, torment, and evil rule, and his cult spreads through fear, false promises, and domination.
A demigod born of shadow and ambition, Iuz rules a land of cruelty in his own image—a living god of tyranny who spreads his malice across the Flanaess like a creeping blight.

Personal history
The nation that bears his name—the Empire of Iuz—lies north of the Vesve Forest and stretches across a blighted, war-scarred land. This realm is a crucible of cruelty and conquest, where orcs, demons, undead, and wicked humans serve in armies that march beneath blood-red banners. Cities are ruled by his priesthood and monstrous lieutenants, who enforce his will with an iron fist and pitiless discipline.
Iuz’s capital, Dorakaa, is a fortress-city of black stone and infernal construction, where fiends walk openly and mortal prisoners are sacrificed to maintain the dark god's strength. The city is said to be connected to the Abyss itself, allowing Iuz to summon demonic reinforcements and advisors as he pleases.
From this throne of bone and shadow, Iuz rules not only his nation but spreads corruption far beyond its borders. His influence infects neighboring realms through spies, cults, and magical agents who incite rebellion, foster civil war, and weaken resistance before his legions ever march.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Iuz is not a god of lofty ideals or grand ambitions of order—he thrives on fear, submission, and decay. He exults in watching strong nations fall to internal rot, seeing once-noble souls reduced to desperate husks begging for mercy. To follow Iuz is to embrace pain—both giving and receiving it—as a form of reverence and power.
Despite his godhood, Iuz is uniquely present in the world. He walks the Flanaess in physical form, conquering, destroying, and appearing where he is least expected. His demigod status gives him strength beyond mortal comprehension, yet his personal vendettas, especially against his rivals like Vaprak, St. Cuthbert, and Vecna, ensure his eternal presence in the battles of both gods and kings.
