Benoit Minot

Benoit Minot, the unexpected and only son of Laurent Minot, was born into the freedom and traditions of the Rurousha nomads. Until the age of eight, he lived with his mother, Soraya, and his extended family in the Rurousha caravan, learning their customs and adopting a more carefree and grounded lifestyle. His dual heritage was brought into stark contrast when he was introduced to the world of Mystidian nobility upon moving to the Minot estate. Here, Benoit’s life shifted as he adapted to the structured, duty-bound existence of a Mystidian lord, navigating both the expectations of nobility and his own deeply ingrained Ruroushin ways.   Benoit is playful, expressive, and has an unrestrained love for storytelling, often using humor and anecdotes to charm and connect with others. While he approaches life with a lighthearted demeanor, he holds a deep respect for the traditions and expectations of House Minot. Benoit struggles with formality and sometimes finds the weight of noble responsibilities daunting, preferring the freedom of expression he enjoyed in his early years. His humor, however, is both his strength and his shield, as he occasionally relies on it to avoid facing emotional vulnerability and difficult situations.   With his striking blend of Mystidian and Ruroushin features, Benoit is notable for his warm, open expression and the faint scar on his left cheek—a memento from a rough childhood incident in the caravan. His dark hair and easygoing smile draw attention, and his penchant for animated storytelling makes him a captivating presence in any gathering. He dresses well, in line with noble standards, but often adds personal touches that reflect his unique background.
