Mystidian

Mystidians are born with great spiritual powers which allow them to harness a variety of supernatural abilities. It is believed that this power comes from the ground water of Myst, which is said to have once been touched by the blood of the Creator God. Rarely, a Mystidian child will be born without any spiritual ability. This is rare but over the decades, many technologies have been invented to help them adapt to living in the harsh conditions of the north. These technologies allow outsiders to also visit and live among the people of Myst with relative ease.
