Blaviert, God of Happiness and Music

Underappreciated and Extroverted

He was the second child Seltor and Valniet had, and he was mostly ignored for the sake of their other son, Therro. The reason most of his priests say he is underappreciated is because he is responsible for the sole concept of joy in this world, and many of his values could be applied to the difficult life most people lead. Like his brother, he is far from being completely neutral, as he does lean towards chaos a bit more with revelry, music, food, and such. However, he is much less of a jerk than most of the other gods (though they shouldn't exactly be held up to mortal standards), yet he has the least priests, acolytes, and clerics serving him than any other of the Divines. His holy symbol is a bronze harp, and his angelic messengers take the form of minstrels and traveling bards. These are also the type of people that worship him most, as well as certain aristocrats or people hoping to make a lasting impression on someone.

Holidays

Every July, on the first day, there might be a celebration of wine, music, and pure fun in the name of Blaviert. This is usually the one festival where people basically use it as an excuse to get as drunk as possible, but the actual stem of this celebration is that a priest of Blaviert was having a difficult time getting the peasants to become happy and embrace their lifestyle. So, Blaviert blessed him with food and drink to give, and the priest went on to teach the serfs how they should still work, since that is how they can keep living, but they have to live for something. That something should be the fun after work, so he taught them exactly that. Hellion's Festival of Songs is still the ultimate way for bards to get money.
