First Spirit Pact

As the Dragon Tyrannies began to oppress their subjects more and more Spirits began to offer the desperate Pacts. Initially thought to be a form of madness, as the Pacts empowered those who accepted them their reality became understood. Soon the first Pactborn were born.

As they became more common the Dragon Tyrants attempted to suppress the Pactmages. Pactborns where hunted down and killed or cast out from the safety of the Tyrannies. This drove them underground, creating a network of secret rebels dedicated to revering the spirits and cultivate their Pacts.
