Giant-kin

t the heart of the Northern Rhakhis, far beyond the paths where mortals tread, it is said that Giant-kin rule great kingdoms from their strongholds sitting atop the mountains and the clouds above.   Forever at war with their ancient enemies - the Giant Wyrms - stories tell of the sound of 'Lightning Crashes' heralding the conflict of these foes, perpetually at war with one another.   Little is known about these beings except for their size - immense, powerful titans that hold strength far beyond most mortals of the Dawning Empire can comprehend. They seem to come in many forms - some resembling humanoids, while others seem more akin to terrifying, ferocious beasts. Whatever their appearance, their sightings always herald tidings of woe.   The ancient kingdom of Avalon was said to have fought the Giant-kin in skirmishes on their northern borders during the height of their rule during the Eras of Daënfel, though little of this time is still documented.   Whatever their purpose and motives, Giants and their servants are not to be trusted and are spoken of as villains in all myths the of this land in which they appear.
