Bovis
The Bovis is a large invertebrate that has opted to have a woolen fur instead of a hard carapace. This adaptation was due to an excess of minerals in the Bovis's diet. To combat this it pushes excess minerals into its wool. This wool makes for a great clothing thread due to its malubility and toughness.
In addition, the Bovis has razor sharp and dense mandibles. This allows it to cut right through Greyshoot and other tough plants.
Most clothes within Kalicose are made of Bovis Wool. Also, the Bovis are native to The Cradle.
