The Cradle

The Cradle is an ancient structure of gargantuan size. With a length of 2,460 feet and a width of 2,040 feet in addition to it's 320 foot ceiling. Made of an unknown stone this massive structure stands stalwart as the birthplace of civilization for Humankind. This is also where the nation of Kalicose is founded and reside.   The architecture of the Cradle is consistent with a theme of arches and layering. Along the walls rest hollow, cubby holes of varying sizes and shapes with most rooves being around 10 feet in height. Serving as a ceiling to the cubbies would be a flat section where one could walk with a 5-6 foot gap for another set of cubby holes along the wall. This creates levels to the walls for vertical home, businesses, and other rooms. There is also a preestablished aqueduct system for water to flow all around the Cradle freely. These aqueducts run at varying heights at most reaching the fifth level of the walls. Also, the stone that the Cradle is constructed of absorbs mana and stores it within the stone walls.   As for the center of the Cradle it is a wide open field, perfect for agriculture where low sunlight and a moist climate is needed. This is why Greyroot grows so well within the walls of the Cradle. As for it's native creatures, there are no real predator's that live within. However, the Cradle is home to the Bovis which has specifically adapted to be best suited for this environment.
