    Orcish migration to Adellon
    Population Migration / Travel

Around 8000 AC, orcs from somewhere west of Adellon began to settle Tavts. Ropog mythology says the Ropog taught the Tavti orcs to sail, but Tavti mythology claims the opposite. Either way, it is generally accepted that the orcish arrival in Adellon was not the calamity the Elven Invasions / Ishi Migrations / Adellonian Massacre  was for the indigenous population.

The Tavti religion is born and quickly spreads though the Orcs of the Peninsula, leading to the creation of a unified Tavti identity, distinct from the orcs of the west.

Sitrian Migration and the Founding of Deja

Deja was a city state, empire, and megalopolis founded by the demon Sitra and her cadre in -784 AC. Originally a colonial project, or refugee camp, by denizens of a now forgotten infernal empire, the city became independent in -777 AC and quickly became a center of magical research and regional power in western Adellon thanks to the infernal blessings of The Sitrian Council, the name for Deja's ruling body composed of Sitra and her 776 children.

    Yhivan Skepticism and Germ Theory
    Discovery, Scientific

Yhivan scholars in Tavt develop a spell to enlarge things, and on casting it discover germs when it works on more than the intended target. This ultimately inspires a new movement among Yhivan thinkers called Skepticism, the belief that the universe can be understood by hypothesizing that something about Creation is true, and then working via experimentation to prove that it isn't.

    Convulsion Day
    Disaster / Destruction

Convulsion Day is the name for the date when "reality twitched and convulsed" for several hours, causing the dead to rise from the graves and the city of Deja, along with hundreds of surrounding miles, to become devoid of life entirely. While it wasn't recognized until a few days later, it is surmised that Convulsion Day is also the day the moon broke.

    The Adellonian Mysterectomy Campaign
    Cultural event

The Adellonian Mysterectomy is the name for the relatively successful and frequently bloody struggle to end magic use in Adellon, once it was discovered that use of magic accelerates the Dejan blight. While there are undeniably many magic users in the world today, the transition from a society that used magic to accomplish practically all tasks to one where magic is effectively taboo, and fewer and fewer people are born with any apparent potentiality to learn magic, is arguably the greatest victory Adellonian people have achieved since the era's beginning.
