The Island Counsil

As the population of The Isles grew, a socialist, democratic party was set up, whom rallied the upcoming encampments and created settlements on the islands, each ruled by their members, And so The Island Counsil was born.   As the council was formed in the Capital of Hearthstead, They still gather here for counsil meetings and celebrations.

The Island Counsil rules the entire state of The Typhoon Islands , and its assets. although tourism remains the dominant asset, the lands' riches and architecture is not something easily denied.

Military

On The Typhoon Islands , an army is mostly viewed as a necessity, rather than an investment.    A military might is accounted for but is mainly kept large enough to deter rather than occupy or strongly resist.

Foreign Relations

The Typhoon Islands have always been a unpartisan party in any war or conflict and keep a healthy relation with all major houses.
