Everyone in Ynath knows Zeladin. It's not because of his stellar reputation or his constant efforts for improving the village. No, it's just because he's very amicable. He knows everyone and everyone knows him, he just has one of those friendly faces people are so keen to liking. Zeladin is generally fun to be around and easygoing, he never makes life complicated for anyone ... well, anyone but those who try to order him around.
He makes a decent living being a caravaneer, working with traders and other travelers, protecting them along the road. He also guides the more adventurous folks through the woods for a very handsome fee, when he feels like it.

General Physical Condition
Centaurs are naturally healthy. Zeladin is in the better years of his life, too. He's robust and surprisingly resilient, though he has been sick only a handful of times in his life. It makes him more prone to whining when he is sick however, which annoys his sister to no end.

Personal history
Zeladin is still young and does not have much of a history of his own. He lives well with his family in Ynath, has always done so. He ventured often into the wildlands as a child (and later) mostly to avoid his responsibilities, which made him more aware of his surroundings than most of the other members of the community. He'll tell you that it's his adventurousness that made him the man he is, but anyone who knows him knows: It's all about dodging obligations and a certain level of fortuitousness.
Intellectual Characteristics
Zeladin knows a lot about nature and geography, and yet, he never seems to be able to read for a very long time. He's not what one might call "book smart" and he learns well by exchanging with others. He's good with people, good with nature, but would do terribly in what one might consider a more civilized world.
Morality & Philosophy
Even though he's often seen as lazy, Zeladin is always willing to help the ones he cares about and is very protective. He is a little naïve and trusting but, just the same, he's a very trustworthy guy and will usually come through for others (after a bit of procrastination).
