Abadar's Vault
Not very long ago, the people of Iobaria would have found the church of Abadar out-of-place at best, or simply very offensive. After all, the god of civilization may make it seem like its church considers the inhabitants of the frontiers unwashed savages, when, in truth, they have a rich cultural heritage. Still, eventually the Abadaran clergy found its way to Iobaria, initially settling in the cities where they could more easily establish their credibility and then extended their reach slowly and steadily. After all, Abadar is no Asmodeus.
It was a little over 100 years ago that Abadar's Vault was first built in Ynath. At the time, a single priest was dispatched to help organize the mine and the village as a trading point and a rest stop between Brevoy and Kridorn. Still, he decided to stay and founded the church itself.
Today, it's a place that most people in Ynath know and visit at least once a year, even if the Abadaran faith is still by long and far, not the most popular. It's a place of learning and sharing, a place where they can store their goods, obtain help writing documents, and work in silence.
Purpose / Function
The Vault was first built to store and protect the goods of the people of Ynath, as well as a place of calm and worship. Over the years, with the help of Archbanker Jarskan, it has interestingly grown into a much larger operations. The few clerks and the archbanker are here to help people redact documents of any kind (more often than not, legal stuff), help people in researching their pretty vast library, store and evaluate their goods, exchange coins, translate documents. Of course, everything comes at a price because nothing comes for free for the god of trade, but over time, most traders and merchants have just accepted it.
Design
The most impressive room is the main hall with the domed ceiling and tainted glass. There's always light in the room, even when the church is closed, and tall columns hold the ceiling where various scenes have been painted. Even for those who don't share the faith, it's an impressive place where people may come for resting or exchanging, activities encouraged by the clergy who see no harm in welcoming those of other faith, as long as they come with the right intentions.
Valuables
The rooms where valuables are kept (the two Vaults and the library) are protected by various spells and a trained staff. Those who would hesitate to leave their belongings in the hand of the church because it seems impossible to protect, have yet to see the church members defend their wealth even at the cost of their own life, which they would.
Still, the church is rich if anything because of the gold it accumulates (and eventually reinvests) and because of the many valuables people have left in their care. Beyond caring for other's possessions, they also charge for every service they provide, which some people find steep, mostly in a place where community and sharing was once the cornerstone of existence.

Architecture
The building may appear of a strange shape to people of the region: standing on a hill, it has loosely the shape of a key where the round part is the main hall. Two hallways lead to the back, one being underground leads to the vault, the library, and the Archbanker's quarters. The top floor hold the work room and the clerk's desk, and, of course, the main hall.
This stone building has a very polished look that clashes a little with the rest of the city. As such, it's very easy to spot, between the tall tainted windows, the pristine appearance, the golden domed roof, and the gold engraving on the stone.
