Silver Grass
"This plant... or whatever else it may be, is not from this world..."Silver Grass is a mysterious, toxic type of grass-like plant known to appear abundantly in the Etherial dimension, as well as in deeply haunted places in the physical world.-A biologist studying silver grass.
Anatomy
Silver Grass gets its name from its peculiar appearance. Composed of thin, glass-like stalks, which grow as high as a man on horse-back. The stalks are hard and straight, with sharp, pointed tips and edges. In daylight, the stalks appear nearly transparent, giving them a glassy appearance, but during the night, they instead turn opaque and silvery. They emit a faint glow when exposed to any kind of etherial Wild Mana energy. This can come from various sources, such as soulbound mages, spirits, ghosts and most often, Veos's light. This glow is often accompanied by the stalks physically moving towards the source of that energy, although nothing of note happens when the stalks touch the source, say for a more intense glow. When moving, the stalks also emit a creaking sound, described as highly unpleasant and unnerving.Spawning and Growth
Silver Grass does not produce any kind of seed, and doesn't reproduce and spreads in any natural way. Instead, the plant appears near spontaneously in areas exposed to high levels of spiritual energy, usually in deeply haunted places. In a few hours, the soil can go from having no silver grass at all, to blades that are many metres tall in just a few hours. When one of the blade of grass is cut, it will quickly grow back to its original length, while the cut grass will slowly disintegrate into nothing when removed from the area.Ecology and habitat
Silver grass is able to grow in any climate and biomes, in cold or warm temperatures, and wet or dry environment. As they grow, they consume and replace any other plant life nearby. Because of their toxic nature, their presence repulses most other forms of life, like animals, trees, and even insects. This, for example, can turn large areas of lush forests into a silent silvery grasslands.

I love that a section is called "toxic and useless", it made me laugh Overall it's a good piece of worldbuilding, and I loved to dive into it as usual
Glad it made you laugh lol. Thank you for the nice words and the like <3
