Milky Way
The Milky Way is the galaxy that mankind resides in. It contains the system, Sol (Humanities home system) Alpha Centauri, Barnard's Star, Sirius, and every colonized system. Mankind has still yet to venture past the Milky Way due to its massive size of over 100,000 light-years. Like with Sol, the Milky Way is just the first stop on our greater journey across the universe.
