Interests & Hobbies

One of my biggest interests is basically anything that is academic in nature. What I mean is anything about understanding some subject of study, like history, science, philosophy, mathematics, and things like that. Anything that like lore, I can't get enough of, real or fiction. Although admittedly I feel like recently I've neglected some of these done to just history and writing, I'm trying to relearn some of the things I once knew. Sometimes I just feel like I want to know everything, especially when I know so little compared to everything.

Favorite Movies

I don't think I have a singular favorite movie anymore, but I do have some that I'd say are my favorites.   From When I Was a Kid: Jurassic Park, the Lucas Era Star Wars movies, Lilo & Stitch, Jaws, the Rocky films, Bugsy Malone, The Land Before Time, and that one movie I was in my family made.   When I Was an Adolescent to Now: Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Godfather Movies, the Rambo movies, Excalibur, and some Marvel movies.

Favorite TV Series

Most of my favorite TV series was from when I was a kid since I don't really watch TV these days.   Such As: Classic SpongeBob, Original Tom & Jerry, Original Looney Tunes, Bonanza, Sanford and Son, The Three Stooges, any Spider-Man Show between Amazing Friends to Spectacular (Minus the MTV one), the Burns and Allen show, Gravity Falls, Justice League Unlimited, and Classic VeggieTales (If that counts).   Some of these I discovered when I was older and liked them retrospectively.

Favorite Books

Growing up I wasn't very good at reading, so I didn't do it very often. Most of my favorite books are not from my childhood.   The Holy Bible, The Hobbit, Geoffrey of Monmouth's History of the Kings of Britain, Herodotus' Histories, Jekyll & Hyde, Machiavelli's The Prince, Charles Oman's The Dark Ages, Plato's Republic, Frankenstein, Around the World in 80 Days, some of H P Lovecraft's work, and a whole bunch of textbooks on science animals dinosaurs space and atlases.

Favorite Writers

As I said earlier, I'm fairly new to reading for enjoyment, so I don't have a vast list of authors. But some that come to mind are as follows (I would also like to include some filmmakers as well): J R R Tolkien, C S Lewis, Plato, Charles Oman, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Sylvester Stallone, Paul the Apostle, St Augustine, Dante Alighieri, Thomas Paine, Homer, and Shad Brooks.

Favorite Games

This one is a lot easier for me.   Any of the GTA games I've played (III, San Andreas, LCS, VCS, IV, V), Original Assassin's Creed up until Black Flag (maybe not III), Call of Duty from World at War to Black Ops 2, the first Ultimate Alliance, the original Spyro, Just Cause 2, Hearts of Iron 4, Crusader Kings 2 & 3, Spider-Man 2018, and a lot of others I think would be too long to list. Although I haven't been playing video games as much as I used to.
