Plant Overview
There are three broad groups of plants on Canera. There is some variation within each group, but the predonimant colors are dark red, neon orange, and magenta, which may indicate three separate origins of photosynthesis. Another possibility is that one or more groups of plants evolved elsewhere and were transported to Canera.
All three groups have representatives that occupy grass, shrub and tree niches,
The line between plant and animal is fuzzy, which may indicate that one or more groups of plants are nested within an animal clade, or vice versa.
