Isabella II Brightsong
(a.k.a. The People's Shield)
Isabella II Brightsong was the daugher of Isabella Brightsong and was crowned queen after her mother's passing. Her rule was relatively peaceful compared to her mother's.
During her rule, she focused on expanding the study of magic and science at Strixhaven Academy to ensure the security of the kingdom.
She died during an arcane experiment gone wrong at Strixhaven Academy. In an attempt to create a barrier around the city to protect it from new attacks, a surge of power caused safety measures to fail and Isabella II died containing a blast of high level magic while the public evacuated. The blast completely destroyed Strixhaven Academy and 11 other buildings surrounding it, but no further lives were lost thanks to her actions.
