Isabella II Brightsong dies at the age of 93. She died during an arcane experiment gone wrong at Strixhaven Academy. In an attempt to create a barrier around the citadel to protect it from new attacks, a surge of power caused safety measures to fail and Isabella II died containing a blast of high level magic while the public evacuated. The blast completely destroyed Strixhaven Academy and 11 other buildings surrounding it, but no further lives were lost thanks to her actions.
