Dukedom of Izalith
Izalith was not too different from the Dukedom of Arvum. Its people were not the most financially well off in the kingdom, but they were strong of spirit and their connection to nature set them apart from the upcoming age of industry expanding from Pecunia. The people of Izalith were caretakers of nature, some of which practiced druidic magic. Since they could not live off the land due to the harsh environment, they heavily relied on trade from the rest of the kingdom and what few bounties the forests would provide.
Izalith was the front line in the war against Zoltrax Magedom and they put up a nearly impenetrable resistance until Zoltrax started burning down the forest, removing any advantage Izalith had. The war eventually saw the fall of Izalith.
Disbandment
The duchy was the subject of a full blown invasion by the Zoltrax Magedom in the summer of 290 ND. The conflict lasted 5 years before the capital was breached and fell almost overnight. The Kingdom of Solis officially declared the duchy lost and all military forces evacuated the remaining population over the next few months. The Flameheart Family is presumed dead and all the land remains an abandoned charcoal waste to this day.
