Tree of Creation

Symbol of the power of the Goddess Gaea and all that she represents.

The area directly beneath the Heart Tree has 12 large obelisks of dark basalt pointing towards the Heart Tree. They have light veins containing gold, that shimmers in the light, though some of the gold has been carved out by greedy individuals. On the other side of the obelisks the first circle of houses starts, Oakenheart in being the most granduous of them all. The area is sacred and no permanent buildings can be raised beneath it. Instead there are several small stalls with coloured canvas "roofs" to keep out the sun. During the Festival of Gifts a large platform stand near the roots where gifts can be placed. In front of the platform hundreds of tables and benches are placed, so that there's an aisle so that people can walk up to the platform with their offerings.

The tree sprung from a single seed gifted by the Goddess Gaea, to the denizens of the cold barren world. As the seed grew to a tree flora spread throughout the land and made it habitable and beautiful.

Every year at Lammas the Festival of Gifts is held in the city of Heart of Gaea. During the festival worshipers from all realms travel to the tree to lay down their offerings to Gaea, hoping to recieve her blessing for another year.
