The Zorren System is the home system of the Detesta. This system has a yellow star, a habitable world, one ice giant, and three gas giants including a so-called Rainbow World. The system also has a lava world, an acid world, and an ice world. The system also has the remains of a failed Dyson Swarm.
The vast majority of the people living here are Detesta, as well as billions of Aureana. The entire system is highly militarized as the Detesta are a highly militarized species. Every single world has military bases built on it or are in orbit around it and a disproportionately large percentage of the entire Detesta species contributes to building up the system's firepower. Despite their low population, the Detesta are powerful enough to take on any of the Major Galactic Powers if they wanted, though a war like that would cause as much destruction as when the Latini invaded their system.

A rather typical yellow star. There isn't much to say about the star itself that hasn't already been said about other yellow stars in the universe. The Detesta had started construction of a Dyson Swarm around the star, and were about 12% complete until a disaster known as The Shattering struck in the distant past that made them abandon their plans for the mega project.

Inside the orbit of the first three planets in this system is a minefield of old debris, consisting of many trillions of objects from small particles to dozen kilometer twisted chunks of metal. Once a year for the last several thousand years, a cloud of debris would pass between Zorren and Planet Navia, making it dark enough to see stars in the night sky. This lasted several days and destroyed the global climate during that period. Recently the Detesta finally cleared that debris field giving their planet access to full sunlight.

This tidally locked world has quite a large lava ocean running across its surface, giving access to all the raw materials and rare elements a growing civilization will ever need. The Detesta took full advantage of this world, and have been mining it for resources for quite some time.
This world also used to have a moon, until its orbit destabilized and crashed into the world roughly four thousand years ago, cracking its surface, offering access to even greater resources. The Detesta themselves made the decision to push the moon into the world, though they didn't have the capability to do it. They had their allies, the Aureana, do it for them.

Zanumi is an acidic ocean world with depths reaching up to 200 kilometers in the deepest trenches. The surface of the oceans is actually composed of very pure water and the atmosphere is mostly oxygen and nitrogen. For oceans deeper than about a kilometer, the water quickly get more acidic until it reaches concentrations of around 35% hydrochloric acid at 10 kilometers depth. The deepest parts of the oceans are said to be composed entirely of liquid hydrogen chloride.
There are very few areas of land, comprising less than 5% of the total surface area. This land consists of floating islands formed by volcanic processes. Due to the acidic nature of the oceans, the land deeper than a kilometer in the water gets eaten away over the course of several thousand years until nothing is left. Then the land above breaks free and becomes a floating island for several thousand years until it breaks apart and sinks in the ocean, mostly due to weather or collisions with other floating islands.
Because so much land is dissolved by the oceans, there is quite a massive amount of raw materials floating freely in the ocean. The Detesta have massive floating platforms that sucks up water from the depths before materials are extracted and refined. The refined materials are sent into space while the very acidic leftovers are injected back into the depths of the ocean. Materials extracted include platinum, iridium, gold, and other rare metals.
The Zorren Dyson Swarm
As stated earlier, this system used to have the beginnings of a dyson swarm, until it was destroyed by extra-solar invaders called the Latini. These invaders had shot a singularity bomb towards the star Zorren almost immediately after exiting the Black Gate that brought them here. The bomb was going to collapse Zorren into a White Dwarf similar to what happened to the Jiorkie System. Instead, the bomb hit a large space habitat somewhere between the first and third planets in this system.
The resulting explosion caused all nearby habitats to also explode, sending trillions of chunks of metal and other debris across the system at relativistic speeds. This debris quickly crashed into other habitats, which also exploded, sending even more debris across the system. this continued until the entire Dyson Swarm was destroyed, killing Twelve Quintillion Detesta in the span of a few hours. This remains one of the greatest losses of life in the Galaxy in recent memory.

Any habitats that remained were those that could readjust their orbits and get out of the spreading debris field. Unfortunately, they were met by ships from the invaders, and were either destroyed or they surrendered to Latini rule, which many Detesta records described as being worse than death.Navia

Roughly 60% of Navia's land is an irradiated wasteland, filled with glassy plains, acid rain, the burned out husks of countless forests and cities, and an absence of almost any life. The 40% of the world that isn't irradiated is rather uniform in its plant and animal life, with almost no biodiversity between major species. This indicates that in the past, perhaps a majority of the world was completely destroyed during the Shattering.
The Detesta on this world are mainly found near the equator, living in recently constructed coastal cities built around orbital elevators. A large amount of their established infrastructure goes into controlling the weather on their world to prevent their new cities from being overrun with radiation.
With the help of their Aureana allies, the Detesta are slowly terraforming their world back to what it used to be, removing the top layer of toxic ground and replacing it with soil and rocks from other worlds in the Zorren System. The Aureana also built massive purifying towers across much of the world to clean radiation out of the air and ground water.
The Aureana also established a genetics program to scrape the planet of any DNA in the hopes of reviving extinct species. Planet Navia should be fully habitable again in another 1500 years. Detesta born today will be alive to see their world free of the scars of the past.
New Navia
After the Invaders were dealt with and the Detesta were liberated, their world was initially far too toxic to live on, so the Detesta built a large orbital ring they called "New Navia". This ring was attached directly to Navia by way of the orbital elevators. The Ring is now a singularly colossal military base, armed with more weapons than most star systems. Factories constantly churn out warships and other weapons of war.For thousands of years, all Detesta in the galaxy lived on that orbital ring. Their people eventually adopted a single language and a single religion and a single purpose. The Detesta are constantly and forever preparing for a war that might never come, but they will always be ready.
Zukyo, Navia's Moon
When Navia was destroyed, their moon was oddly left intact. The Invaders that caused the Shattering used this moon as their base of operations, constructing several large structures. These were used as various things including a base of operations for further invasions across the galaxy. Another was a large factory to build more warships.

One particularly large structure was used to house all the surviving Detesta where unspeakably terrible things were done to them by the invaders. There is a reason why the Detesta hate certain beings in the galaxy with so much vigor that they will kill them on sight, even thousands of years later.After the Detesta were liberated, these structures were abandoned and stayed that way for many thousands of years, and other than target practice for training military units, they have been left alone, used as a reminder of what the worst beings in the galaxy were capable of.

This icy world is covered in glaciers up to 12 km thick from the poles to the equator. Large cracks run across the world creating deep canyons that reach the surface where there are tectonically active continents and a very salty liquid ocean. The Detesta use this world to supply their entire system's water needs and has a series of orbital elevators built around this world similar to Navia.

A massive Gas Giant with brightly glowing green and yellow rings. Almost a dozen large moons orbit this world, including several that are larger than planet Navia. Each world has its own unique environments, which the Detesta use to gather additional resources and train their mech pilots. Similar to Navia, some moons orbiting illistara have large orbital rings constructed around them and are armed with more firepower than most star systems.
Like many gas giants in the galaxy, Cetalari can be found here. When the Latini invaded the system, the Cetalari sent bioships to meet them. The Latini were able to defeat the bioships but when they attempted to approach Illistara, they were shot down at any distance within the planet's ring system. Attempts to fire a singularity bomb into the world ended in failure when the bombs mysteriously vanished before reaching the planet's atmosphere. Escaping Detesa ships were allowed in, and were protected by the Cetalari for nearly twenty years until they took their system back. There are still many thousands of Detesta cities orbiting in the very highest layers of the planet's atmosphere, hundreds of kilometers above the cloud tops.

The bright, psychedelic colors of this world are because of the high noble gas content in the atmosphere. Charged particles run through the planet's upper atmosphere, creating a dazzling display of lights in nearly every color imaginable. Different layers of the atmosphere glow in different colors, both by elevation and latitude. There is no large-scale industrial use for rainbow worlds like these, but many Detesta live in cities orbiting this world due to the pleasing colors.

This Ice Giant is pretty typical in the Galaxy, sharing much in common with other ice giants like the Solar System's Neptune. This world was bought by the Vusinor shortly after they liberated this system and freed the Detesta. The world was quickly added to their Switchboard Network and the Detesta were granted access to a large percentage of their network and instant communication technology. This is one of the only Vusinor worlds in a non-Vusinor system that is left unguarded. The Detesta trust no one and insist that their military be used for all matters of security.
