A prominent warrior who refuses to leave the battlefield to the young ones. Continues to fight alongside Alfric Striggirs and Geytru Striggirs, deferring to their military leadership. Loyal to the crown and Port Argen.
However, Frangan is a man of many contradictions.
While he holds deep respect for Alfric Striggir, he does not believe he is the right Thane for Port Argen. Sees him as too soft and forgiving.
Therefore, openly opposes his decisions in court, often approaching the same situation from different angles. He knows he struggles to see things from Alfric's point of view, but refuses to give in.
Has a prosthetic left leg from the knee down. It is an exquisite clockwork design, gifted to him by a member of the Icantia diplomatic envoy after he saved their ships from a raid by The Lucky Bones.
Married Gwynefa Reese out of Suttgard, through a political union designed to bring more magic-oriented settlers to Port Argen; however, little has come from it.
Both Gwynefa and his twin daughters (Alwena and Eiriol (not identical twins)) reside in Suttgard and have little, if any, contact with him.
