Relic

Relic is the New God of discovery and Invention, often reffered to as the Spark of ingeinuity and advancement. Once a lone scientist from the old world who fought against the end of the world, Relic was one of the few survivors left to witness the effects of the "Big Crunch" that destroyed the previous universe. Ever the survivor, Relic's will persisted even in death as he was remade and reborn as a god in the new world.   Relic had never quite adapted to his new role as a god as well as others had, preferring to instead view himself as a teacher, one who admitably had to create his own students in the forms of the Giants and later after seeing what the others had made, Dwarves in his image. When he wasn't teaching, Relic was usually holed up deep inside the mountains of Jotunheim, which served as his personal Lab before his own creations started following him home into the cavernous depths.   Relic was never a social god, overthinking any and every problem he was presented, he rarely answered most calls, having been too deep in thought over what a god's response should be to actualy respond, it was this uncertainty that lead him to side with yggdrasil in the Divine Conflict, seeing himself as unworthy to rule over people and control their fate.

Artifacts

Das Rheingold- Sometimes reffered to as Relic's Folly, Das Rheingold served as the Divine Remains of Conjuration. (The Divine Remains are a set of Powerful Magic Artifiacts created by the gods and represented the apex of magics potential in that school) Most notable for it's role in the nation's Re-Founding myth, "The Tale of the three dragonslayers" Das Rheingold was the name used to refer toven to a legendary Treasure Trove, Originally a simple ring, Das Rheingold's conjuration magic allowed it to continously gold, any who possesed Das Rheingold was blessed with great wealth in their lifetimes, however the ring and all of it's gold came at a hefty curse, those who bear the ring or any treasure affilated with it's hoard will bear great misfortune, never to find happiness as Rheingold's curse infects the user and the world around them, fostering the spread of betrayal and distrust and driving families to kill their own flesh and blood. Unknown extreme circumstances involving Fafnir's Possesion of Rheingold lead to his own greed and curse deforming him, leading to his eventual trasnformation into a dragon. Unable to destroy the treasure, Das Rheingold was lost to history, a fact the Twin Kings Sigurd and Siegfried had overseen themselves, both knew the pain the gold brought onto the owners all too well having inherited Fafnir's Hoard on a technicality for slaying the dragon. No one knows where the treasure was taken, King Siegfired dying later that year with Sigurd abdicating the throne soon after to spend what little time he had left to build a family.

Holy Books & Codes

In lieu of traditional Holy texts, Relic instead preferred to use his churches as an institution for higher learning and the art of creation, many supposedly "Holy Books" from Relic are in actuality merely compilations of his ideas and blueprints scrawled into notebooks, his advanced mind and illegible handwritting however made replicating his concepts nearly impossible, the handwritting is so messy in fact that many people will read the same page and have wildly differing ideas in regards to what Relic was proposing.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The offical symbol of Relic has been that of a bronze gear featuring a mark resembling a hammer striking an anvil, however is recent times many worshiper's of relic have found a much greater connection to Relic through dedicated Craftsmanship, A dwarf who put their heart and soul into creating their Magnum Opus Plate Mail will often find Relics Guidence more often than they would from a purchased symbol.

Holidays

Jolnir/Chivalries Eve: Originally Created by Lord Caligula as a smaller celebration honoring the great Lunar being Diane, Chivarlies Eve, as it was called, started as a week long Holiday for the Hobgoblin Soldiers before spreading to the commonfolk. Chivalries Eve starts on the 20th of Balberus and runs into the end of the month. Relic's Involvement in the holiday came when Chivalries Eve reached Jotunheim and was re-branded as Jolnir, adding to the celebration through the creation and distrubtion of Toy's and other crafts to make presents for children, starting the myth and tale of Jolly Saint Nick, a Master Craftsman and trickster figure who'd leave hand-made gifts for all the good boys and girls.
