Sintallen

A small port town located at the southern end of the Three Lands Deep.   Sintallen is a small but lively town, where many set off sailing from. With a permanant population of 4030, the town relies on it's fishing and sailing industries to stay "afloat" (harhar). While the town experiences a lot of traffic, the general level of wealth is considerably low, which can be seen from the dilapidated and often degraded buildings. Being located next to a see, the buildings experience a lot of salt water spray which causes the town to have a distinctly salty smell. Along with the smell, frequent pockets of salt crust can be seen on corners of buildings and other little pockets where the crust is able to build up.   Captain Grull is the unofficial leader of the town, as the conclave wishes to have nothing to do with Sintallen, due to its lack of lucritave arcane, militaristic or commercial resources.   The town is controlled by a gang called 'The Crimson Hold', a group of pirates that hold a vicegrip on the citizens of sintallen. Gang members can be identified with a crimson strip of dyed fabric on whatever theyre wearing, commonly on the sleeve or around the collar. The crimson hold deals in all things illicit, drugs, contraband, slaves, mercenaries and more. If you name it, somone is probably selling it. Captain Grull takes a 10% tarriff on all gold that changes hands within the town.   The Crimson Hold operates out of the Murky Deep Inn.  
The channel that runs from the west to north of Sintallen is a popular trade route for merchants, but a frequent spot for pirates looking to plunder.
