Glossa is the native language of the Giantkin. Glossa itself means "Tongue" in their own language. Glossa is one of the oldest language still regularly spoken on Aemaphia, being used by the variety of native Giants. In addition, it is used by several of the Unseelie Fey and the Trolls. Its alphabet and grammatical rules are used for several additional languages, such as Phoni. Finally, it serves as the foundation for all ancient Terran languages, from Imperial to Vulgar.
Glossa is loosely based on Hellenistic Greek.

Kyro, the Northern Dialect
Kyro is a dialect variation of Glossa that is common in Aestidesia & Northern Aesersia. It uses Ks in place of Cs & Is in place of Es as well as ending words with Kos or Tos.Fotes, the Southern Dialect
Fotes is a dialect variation of Glossa that is common in Arthesia. It uses double RRs & double SSs & replacing Cs with Double SSs & Ae with Ay as well as using Es in place of As at the end of words.Bacchos, the Fey Dialect
Bacchos is a dialect variation of Glossa created by Cyclopi and the Trolls, which is now spoken by the renegade fey such as Centaur and Satyr who rejected their Unseili kin. It uses double CCs & double SSs & will often follow them with an H. Bacchos also uses OS in place of E at the end of words.Vocabulary

Caras means Face.
Ages means Shield.
Aser means Crown.
Astede means Spear.

Polei means Republic or Confederation.
Gigantepolei was the term the Giantkin used to identify their domain, now known to historians as the Giant Republics.
Fotea means Fire or Hot.
Cyro means Cold or Ice.
Corne means Water.
Arctes means North.
Bacche means Wild.
Stelar means Star
Sanstelartei means Constellations, but literally translates to A Group of Stars that Move as One.
Sapea means Shape or Form.
Soma means Body.
Delphi means Sibling. This is the term Giantkin use to identify members of their same specific heritage.
Aniopes means Kin. This is the term Giantkin use to identify other True Giants that are from a different lineage.
Gigantes means Lord or Master. This is the term Giantkin used to identify themselves to their slaves or lesser species.
Giganei means Masters.
Pedi means Child or Spawn.
Pedei means Children.
Knotan means Bastard. This term is also used as a pejorative for lesser Giantkin such as Goliaths, Ogres, and Trolls.
Tera means Perfect.
Curces means Circle, used to refer to Kinder sha’ab.
