Florian Fossoway

Lord Florian Fossoway

Lord Florian Fossoway is the head of House Fossoway of the Arbor, being the second son of Lord Cerion Fossoway's younger brother he knew from a young age that he would never be the lord of Cider Hall. He became a squire for Lord Gormon Peake at 188 after Lord Gormon visited Cider Hall, once House Peake joined king Daemon I Blackfyre in his righteous rebellion Florian followed their lead and participated in many battles attending Lord Gormon, he was knighted for his bravery after the Battle of the Redgrass Field, where he slew a knight of House Darry, he fought as a knight for the first time at the bloody battle of Bitterbridge against the forces of Targaryen loyalist Lord Leo Tyrell.
During the The King's Tourney of 197 Florian got to second place in the archery competition, defeating several more experienced archers.
Shortly after the arrival of the Redwyne family in King's Landing a bethrotal was arranged between him and Desmerra Redwyne, the wedding took place in late 198 where, in a surprising act of generosity, Runceford Redwyne, then Lord of the Arbor abdicated all of his claims and disinherited his sister Alexandra Redwyne in favour of the younger Desmerra, making Florian the new Lord of the Arbor and first head of the House Fossoway of the Arbor.
When the Westerlands were attacked in the last months of 199 AC, Florian brought his fleet to their aid, and stood by his friend and lord of Casterly Rock, Jaime Lannister during the counter offensive acting as the admiral in charge of the entire fleet, despite his lack of experience.
