Runceford Redwyne
Ser Runceford Redwyne
Runceford was the heir to the Arbor after his father Robert Redwyne. Runceford was a freckled robust boy who slowly mastered the art of warfare from his father and learned swordplay from his master at arms. He has two younger sisters and another brother Robyn who passed in the cradle and the mother not long after. Robert followed his lord Longthorn in supporting the Targaryens alas he drowned in his own armor during a naval skirmish. Inheriting his fathers mantle Runceford became lord of the Arbor and ceased all operations until a winner was decided. After the Blackdragon prevailed Runceford along with his sisters, Alexandra and Desmerra, travelled to Kingslanding to bend the knee and apologize for their father's actions.
In 198, shortly after the tourney held in Highgarden by Lord Leo Tyrell Runceford wed a lowborn serving girl in a private ceremony, despite having a bethrotal arranged with a lady of House Hightower of the Hightower, causing a great amount of political tension between the Arbor and Oldtown. In late 198, after the wedding of Desmerra and Florian Fossoway Runceford named her his heir and gave up all his claims on the Arbor, opting to live a simpler life as a landed knight under Lord Gormon Peake.
