Martian Democratic Republic of Aresia
The Martian Democratic Republic of Aresia (MDRA), often known as simply the Democratic Republic of Aresia, was a country on the planet Mars from 2330 to 2336 that was entirely ruled by president Jamie Winfrey and the NARA party, who have entirely converted the previously democratic Federal Republic of Aresia into an authoritarian, one-party dictatorship. Being solely run on the ideology of nationalism and anti-communism (and generally anti-socialism), the MDRA would seek to entirely oppose the spread and implementation of any far-left ideologies, and would launch a military campaign against the pockets of the rebeling Aresian's People Party and other socialist organizations. The MDRA, however, would eventually be otherthrown in the December Coup of 2336, where the dissenters of Winfrey's regime would stage a coup d'état against the oppressive government to otherthrow and replace the regime with a new, democratic state.
Public Agenda
The goals of the Democratic Republic of Aresia is to combat the spread of communism to Aresia itself, and will go to any lengths needed in order to "combat communism", even if it means scrificing the lives of innocent civillians. The country also had the goal of conquering the entire planet of Mars, which was mostly driven by the Winfrey's (and to an extent, the NARA's) strong empthasis on imperalism.
Disbandment
Following the December Coup of 2336, the NARA party would be ousted and its many high-ranking members would be killed, executed, or imprisioned as a means of otherthrowing Winfrey's oppressive regime and restoring democracy to Aresia once again. Some members, however, would escape the country following the coup and flee to other countries, both on Mars and Earth.
Military
The Martian Armed Forces of Aresia opperate mostly the same as its similarly named predecessor form under the Federal Republic of Aresia, with the sole exception being bigger and more corrupt.
