Praiver
Praiver, the capital city of Kleumizura, stands as a gleaming white jewel in the endless expanse of the Sralo Desert. Its skyline is marked by tall, slim, tower-like structures resembling skyscrapers, their pristine exteriors reflecting the harsh desert light. Pavilions and open-air plazas give the city an air of grandeur, but much of this splendor is superficial; while the streets and facades boast wealth and refinement, closer inspection reveals cracks beneath the polish. The city is obsessed with returning to what it perceives as its former glory, striving for order and control in every facet of life.
Despite the illusion of affluence, the heart of Praiver is ruled by austerity. Under the leadership of Lord Vermillion Rodbertus, most of the city’s wealth is funneled into maintaining vast temples and sacred halls devoted to Nero, god of Order. Praiver’s citizens are zealous in their worship, though they take Nero’s teachings to rigid extremes, resulting in an oppressive system of rules and regulations. The city brims with magical relics, many dating back to the great god wars, alongside enchanted items and the rare desert jewels and gems found only in Kleumizura’s sands.
