Dushara

Dushara is the second planet in orbit of Groombridge 34A. It is named for the chief deity of the Nabataean pantheon from northern Arabia and the southern Levant during the Hellenistic era. Settlement of the planetary system was part of the primary stage of settlement, with initial operations commencing prior to the formation of Frontier Industrial Alliance.  

Human Development

  The planet is home to Reprise Depot, a large space station and the sector corporate office for FIA. Reprise Depot is home to over 600 permanent residents. There have been internal discussions at FIA about relocating the corporate offices off the station but no decision has been made.   Aretas is a terraforming and mining station on the largest moon of Gerasa. Other settlements include Obodas and Rabbel. Gerasa is the most developed moon or planet in the sector with a population approaching 500, 000 people.   The moon of Pella has a very thin atmosphere which has hampered settlement. A magnetospheric generator was built in 2148 and a settlement (Hagaru) has been slowly built up around the facility.   Sussita is a domed mining colony on the rocky, non-spherical moon of Hippos.
