Eqix-Tleisalzeo Wars
"Of all our conflicts with the Tleisalzeo hives... the worst was devastating for all sides. Though you might not see it with our current strength, if they had gone on for too much longer neither of our species would have survived it.
As it was, they lost several small but still unique hives before the war was over."
Violent, multi-sided wars that bloodied the stars around Kiq that no side completely recovered from. When things seemed to calm down it would only spark back up again. Involving the Eqix and numerous Tleisalzeo Hives, not all of which saw the end of the war.
A lone scout searches for survivors among numerous wrecks, hoping there is someone still, praying their attackers don't come back.
The Conflict
Prelude
Many Eqix factions, after having basically uplifted the Tleis, tried to keep the hives dependent on them for trade as they both advanced to the stars. This didn't go over very well when the hives started to realize this. The Tleis making failed attempts to colonize other planets wasn't helping by stressing many hives out. Tension brewed for years, many started forming alliances and preparing for imminent conflict.
Soon, the first fight occurred: a young Zastasu Hive launched an attack against a group of fifteen Stiriks ships, escorted by over double their numbers in Kazvo Hive ships. Only a handful of Stiriks ships survived with a comparatively small number of the escorting ships.
All hell broke loose in the region shortly after as word of the attack spread like a dry summer wildfire.

Then the Auziq suffered a massive split, depleting their already reduced numbers. This split being directly due to Auziq's continued alliance with the Eqix, despite heavy causalities caused by the Eqix' actions. This splinter group disappeared, becoming the Vlhyae much later.
Aftermath
The Vlhyae are attempting to stir up old conflict, though they don't know at what cost another war would be.
