Motivation
Secretly resents his younger brother Onar because he believes Onar has stolen his rightful place as Lord-Governor. Obin sometimes works to undermine the authority of his brother because of this. At the same time, Obin still loves his brother since they grew up together under the oppressive upbringing of their father where Obin and Onar often only had each other to rely on. This cognitive dissonance keeps Obin from doing something drastic to usurp his brother and claim the throne.
