Fire Islanders

The ethnic people of the Fire Islands.   Fire Islanders descend from a specific group of people from the Earth Mainland who have long been lost to history. It's rumored that Fire Islanders are decendents of the people of the Earth Mainland who intermarried with the Sun Warriors, though this has never been historically verified.   The defining feature of most Fire Islanders are their jet black hair, with a few having dark brown hair.   Most Fire Islanders residing in the outer islands of the Fire Isles are short and stout with lifestyles defined by farming and fishing. Fire Islanders who live close to or on the main Fire Island are typically tall and lean with lifestyles defined by hunting and leisure. While there is no formal class divide between the two sets of Islanders, there is an informal recognition of the geographic divide between the "Main Islanders" and the "Outer Islanders."
