Taren'val
Taren'val was an elven city on the northern coast of the Helia'rian Sea. It has been recently conqured by the forces of the Confederation of Kardan during the Battle of Steelheart and the destruction of the Solarian Empire. This was originally a dwarven settlement thousands of years ago prior to being taken over by the Elves of the Lunar Isles. But the last 6,000 years of elven society has formed it into a true blooded elven city.
Following military actions of the Confederation of Kardan and the confusion of the destruction of Elven Capital this city became under control of dwarven rule, it is now considered part of the hold of Steelheart. The largely Sun and Moon Elven inhabitants are unhappy under this rule. The Confederation of Kardan use it mainly as a trading port to gain better access to the Helia'rian Sea.
Its population is 120,000 being the largest of the Confederation of Kardan.
