Hearthold
This city is the capital of Gloomsmead a hold of the Confederation of Kardan. This city is where much creation of gunpowder takes place for it to be sold and disrbuted to the other hold. This is also the point of outward trade from the mined resources of the volcanic mountains within Gloomsmead.
Following the destruction of Steelheart during the Destruction of Steelheart, a large amount of immigating dwarves of the Kouldarin culture made their way int othe city escaping the death bolstering the population of the city to over 60,000 but in the last 100 years with the restoration of Steelheart and more jobs becoming available elswhere the population of the city has dropped down to around 35,000. The population of the city is largely Dwarves and Gnomes.
