The Battle of the Bridge
The last stand
"The sky over the Bridge was the palest blue, the air deathly still, the atmosphere stifling. Four figures stood on a narrow walkway, staring each other down and daring the other side to make the first move, one that might determine the course of history for centuries to come."
The Conflict
Prelude
The Battle of the Bridge was actually a smaller duel that took place during a larger battle at the Castle in Arca. Meeiuwaan took an arrow to the chest to save Tantemtalem's life. Cat jumped to The Bridge to try and save her but found that the Serpent King and the Snake could Bridge-jump too and were waiting for her.
Conditions
The dark magic buildup in the atmosphere was making conditions unsafe. The temperature was rapidly rising, with a 78 degree (Farenheit) start temp and a 106 degree (Farenheit) end temp.
Outcome
Serpent King and Rᴂlin both perished in the fight. Meew was stuck on the death side of The Bridge and was forced to move on to the afterlife, leaving Tantemtalem in the world of the living. The death of The Battlemaster Empire's two leaders threw the Empire into chaos, resulting in Cat and the gang's victory.
Aftermath
The Citraidarian Empire won the War and the Battlemaster Empire eventually dissolved and was absorbed into other, smaller Empires. Tantemtalem and her friends returned to The Citadel and found a home there. The Citraidarian Empire took over Astor-Banthum and resolved its conflicts with the Alchemien Empire and the Callistian Empire. This prompted Tantemtalem to take a journey to ??? and try to find out more about her mysterious past, family, and powers.
Historical Significance
In Literature
Many books were written about the battle (and the entire quest in general) after it was over, the most famous being "Tantemtalem: The Story" by Tanoa herself.

Strength
The Serpent King was an extremely talented commander and fighter; so was the Snake (besides its normal powers). They also had the advantage of surprise.
They had the Capricorna, which gave them a huge advantage and won them the battle.
Casualties
Both fighters died when The Bridge collapsed.
Meew was already half-dead, just waiting to move on to the afterlife. After the Bridge crumbled, she was stuck on the death side and could not return with Cat. She had to move on. Tantemtalem almost died when Meew blew the Capricorna and suffered major head trauma as a result.
Objectives
To prevent Tantemtalem from rescuing Meew and to finish off both of them right there.
Tantemtalem wanted to rescue Meew and bring her back to the land of the living. The Serpent King and the Snake stood in her way, so Cat decided to end the War once and for all.

It took me a month to come up with the idea for this final battle.
